Montelektro has gained its first experience in tobacco industry through  collaboration with the well known Italian producer Garbuio.

This included our support for automation and commissioning of Primary processing plants, with Lamina and Stem lines and Presses, all around the world.

We made complete reconstructions of tobacco plants in Croatia and Bosnia.

In Croatia we cooperate with our Monopolly in the field of Leaf preparation plants.

In 2005 and 2006 we undertook our biggest individual project: the new greenfield factory in Croatia for the leading cigarette manufacturer in the region. This project management included the complete equipment supply, erection and commisionning of power stations, power distribution, air conditionning (HVAC), illumination, IT and telephone network, fire alarm system...

Nowadays, we regullary cooperate with American producer EvansMacTavish in the field of Threshing lines, Lab equipment, Presses, Dryers, Weighting belts and Cylinder controls. We deliver electrical engineering, supply MCC, installation material, organise installation and commissioning.
